Extraco is currently immersed in a project to extend the University Hospital of Orense (CHUO). The Xunta de Galicia (Galician Regional Government) awarded the expansion to the Temporary Joint Venture made up by Extraco, Vías y ConstruccionesS.A.and CRC.

According to the construction project, the net floor area will cover 47,864 m², and the gross floor area, 53,941 m². The expansion includes the construction of a new hospital block, which will consist of an area for general services and the extension and equipping of a car park.
