Extraco has recently published a book entitled “Ourense Deslumbra” (Ourense, a dazzling region), which describes, extols and exhibits the many natural, architectural, ethnographic and historical values of the province of Ourense.

Through texts by Carlos Núñez Deza and images provided by Inorde and several professional photographers (José Luis Filpo, Carlos Núñez Deza, Luis Miguel Bugallo Sánchez and José Antonio Gil Martínez), the 66-page publication reviews the charms of the counties of Ourense in an impressive visual tour.

The book covers the Ribeira Sacra, with the Canóns do Sil, the monasteries and its wine as great treasures; the capital, with its thermal baths or the historic center as emblems; Allariz and the Alto Arnoia, as a great historical and patrimonial jewel; Celanova and the Serra do Xurés, with its biodiversity and landscape richness; O Ribeiro and O Carballiño, a mixture of oenology and historical heritage; Valdeorras, with its natural contrasts and wine tradition; Oriente Ourensán, with the fascination of its mountains and valleys, and the Vía da Prata, the ancient Roman route.
