Extraco joins the new Spanish Scientific Association for Eco-Sustainable Concrete

Extraco has just joined the new Spanish Scientific Association for Eco-Sustainable Concrete (EcoH).

This organization brings together researchers, professionals, and companies to promote the use of recycled materials and innovative processes with the aim of reducing the environmental impact of construction.

The first event organized by EcoH took place in early April in Barcelona, with a technical forum aimed at analyzing numerous advances in sustainable cements, recycled concrete and aggregates, and low-carbon additives, among other innovations.

Extraco has developed several types of eco-concrete over the last ten years, recovering waste from different sources: bivalve shells, bottom ash from thermal power plants, and electric arc slag in various R&D&I projects.
