This month, Extraco completed the project to eliminate a level crossing in the municipality of La Granada (Barcelona), located along the Sant Vicenç de Calders–L’Hospitalet de Llobregat railway line. Awarded by Adif, the works were fully executed without interrupting train service.

The works included an underpass and connecting roads to the existing paths. The structure beneath the tracks consists of a reinforced concrete box frame jacked into the existing embankment, alongside retaining structures for the backfill at the entrance and exit.

Featuring internal dimensions of 8 by 6.10 meters, the structure guarantees a minimum vertical clearance of 5 meters.
