Extraco carries out and expansion of the school Cruz de Chalpón de Motupe in Peru

Extraco continues to increase its activity in Latin America after being awarded new projects in Peru, specifically carrying out the adaptation, improvement and replacement works of the school Cruz de Chalpón. It is an educational centre located in the district of Motupe, in the province of Lambayeque, an area in which the company already built other schools.

With a budget of 15.5 million soles, the project involves the expansion of the current school by building new classrooms and upgrading the current ones, which are in quite bad conditions. In addition to this, Extraco will be responsible for the construction of other facilities for the educational community, such as a heated swimming pool, a sports court and a small church, as well as for the provision of external lighting, green areas and the installation of a lift.

The work is promoted by the Ministry of Education of Peru, through the National Program Educational Infrastructure (Pronied). While the works are carried out, Extraco will provide prefabricated provisional classrooms for the students and teachers to use in their school hours and thus continue with the normal activity of the centre.
