The Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR) has renewed the carbon footprint verification certificate of Extraco’s productive activity in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHC), the most widely implemented standardized methodology worldwide for the measurement and calculation of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG)

The procedure was implemented as a voluntary CSR tool by the company in 2022, under the umbrella of its environmental commitment, and the data show that significant progress has been made in improving its carbon footprint.

The system allows the adoption of measures to reduce emissions, taking into account the activities developed in all Extraco’s offices, the Allariz hot mix asphalt plant and the projects carried out by the company in Spain, aside from the joint ventures.
