This summer, the town of O Milladoiro, located in the municipality of Ames (A Coru\u00f1a), is showcasing the deep transformation of its main artery, the N-550, following the completion of an ambitious pedestrian-friendly redesign project executed by a joint venture featuring Extraco<\/strong> as a member partner.<\/p>\n

Commissioned by the Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility<\/strong>, the project involved redesigning the public space, widening sidewalks, creating an accessible pedestrian route and a bike lane, adding landscaped areas, reorganizing intersections and access points, and refurbishing two roundabouts.<\/p>\n

This pedestrian-friendly initiative also meant that the road was reduced to a single lane in each direction for vehicular traffic.<\/p>\n
